Time to get in shape.

Let's get in shape. I have a stomach I want to be toned and it wouldn't hurt to have more stamina.
I'll start off with
- 200 situps a day (100 in morning, 100 in evening). Will increase 50-100 every week until I hit 1000 per day. And yes, I know people who can do this. OH I AM GOING TO DIE.
- 4 miles every week (spread out whenever I have time, if no time, I guess I'll be running 4 miles on Sunday ![]()
- Weight lifting at least twice a week, hopefully three (really busy to fit into schedule).
For me, this is realistic. I'll build up to what I really want. 1000 situps a day, running 7-10 miles every week and going to gym 4 times a week. And hopefully if I eat right and actually stick to this, I can achieve everything I want by summer time so I can run nude around my nieghborhood.
Plus, I figured it's better to put this in words than saying it so I have something to look at and to keep track of.

Me too
Dunno about the numbers though, they seem kinda high. 1000 situps a day? Not my target…
The 7-10 mile running is definitely possible though (especially if one cheats and does it on a treadmill :p). Good luck to both of us!

Oh, I am definitely cheating with the running. Everytime I go to gym, I try to run 1-2 miles.

1000?, I can’t even do 30. Wow, good luck shaping up then. I’m doing something like this myself and the initial result was awesome!

Man if you actually accomplish this you need to be my personal trainer or something. The 4 miles a week isn’t bad, but the 1000 sit-ups a day…that’s insane.

That sounds awesome, sounds like you have a good system figured out. screw what everybody says if you want to do 1000 situps then go and don’t let anybody stand in your way. Just do it!

hmmmm….just a thought… you might consider every other day with muscle breakdown, allowing definition to rebuild and give better cut lines…1000 sit-ups every day might be defeating the purpose of visual definition or looking “Cut”, muscles need time (30-40hours) to rebuild and increase definition, if continued breakdown is daily, no rebuild is allowed. With proper sit-ups (True Crunch) you should receive burn within 200-300 sit-ups within a 5 min period…again, just my thought…good luck!
