Anyone tried Hookahs?

Don't. I like to try everything once in my life (except drugs like cocaine and etc). This was nothing, no aftereffects no during affects. I just don't see why people spend money smoking that crap. The atmosphere was fun though when I went with my friends on Friday. Near the end we got a free titty show since one of the workers (maybe the owner) there was acting really horny. That was fun though, cheering everytime a girl flashed the crowd. The owner decided to stand right next to us so basically we got front row seats and every goddamn guy was like behind me or squeezing me to see the girls.

Yes, I know. Men are degrading horn dogs. That's how we were genetically designed :)

    Not yet, but I’ve been planning on it. We have a Hookah bar down the street, but I just haven’t had a chance yet. I’ve heard it’s pretty cool. Definitely worth checking out :)

    I can so picture you trying hookah. Sheesh, men are horndogs. Makes me want to smack my husband upside his head. :D

    Pfft. You haven’t a hookah made properly. A properly made hookah is as much about ritual, care, and doing it right as the quality of the ingredients: clean water, quality tobacco, and good clean coal.

    If you go to a place and they are using those quick-lighting ‘coals’ don’t bother smoking there. YOu want quality stuff. The coal should be wood coal from a medium hard wood. Lemon wood coal makes excellent hookah coal for example.

    Most tobacco’s you buy are going to be the cheap kind. Lots of stems and shit, and the tobacco can be on the dry side. Bad bad bad. And keep your tobacco in air-tight containers in a cool, dry place.

    Lastly, check what type aluminum foil they use to cover the tobacco? Is it the cheap sandwitch shop type foil? Or it is the ‘heavy-duty’ foil? If it is the former you are better off using it for your tin-foil hats. You want something sturdier to get better heat transference as well as more equal transfer of heat. Don’t scorch the tobacco.

    Lastly, for the love of god, use clean water. It makes a big difference. Also make sure the pipes are cleaned regularly. The tobacco leaves deposits on the pipes which affect the flavour. Using something like CLR on the pipes works really well and gets all the old smell out.

    Or if you are in Minneapolis you can come to my place and I’ll make you a proper hookah.

    I tried it for the first time last year on the southern coast of the Caspian and I found it rather pleasant. I was at the beach and this Kurdish man invited me over for a puff.

    I don’t smoke or drink or anything and I found it really nice.

    I have been to a Hookah bar before in Chicago and it was awsome.I live in St. Cloud and plan to go to A Hookah bar down in Minneapolis sometime soon. Very fun experience!

    smoking tobacco in a hookah is cool and all….but like, if you buy a hookah or make one yourself [more on that below] its quite fun to smoke weed in with three or four close friends. makes for clean, cool smoke.

    anyway, i was at a party last night and i met medusa. a friend john of mine made a hookah out of a trombone mute, a metal mesh kitchen sink drain, and some hoses from home depot. very nice. lots of fun.

    I sew that you talking about hookah and i want to tell you that I start smoking 3 years ago and I am crazy about it there noting to compare beside sex maybe to a smoke of hookah after a long day at work with a glass of ark- (great Jordanian alcoholic drink) I want to recommend on

    well im buying a hookah soon, but im using it to smoke weed, but im going to buy some of that nice flavoured sinsa tobacco and smoke that occasinly, but im mostley going to smoke weed out of it, and sometimes mix the 2 together so the weed tastes good and not harsh
