As of now, I still don't know who to vote for. I am currently leaning towards Bush even though my vote won't matter in this liberal state (California). All I know is that I get my information from factcheck.org and howstuffworks.com where nothing is distorted. I read the facts and come to my own decision.

Bush and Kerry aren't right for the job, but if I had to choose, I'd go for Bush unless someone has good evidence that can change my mind likewise. I dislike changing presidents during the middle of a war seeing his administration (we know who's running the game here ) already is familiar with what is going on. If Kerry is elected, they will need to familiarize themselves with everything that is happening in public and in private about the war. Plus, I dislike how Kerry is indecisive, we all understand politicians would jump from stand to stand but take a look at his track record and see. Plus, I don't want to continuing talking, next thing I know all these leftists will be jumping my ass about how wrong I am and how Michael Moore is a god and how tax cuts are only benefiting the rich.

I just finish my midterms for this semester and one step closer to transferring to a UC I want (hopefully). I felt good about my three of my four tests, the only one I am a little concerned about is my calculus test. Actually, that’s also the only class I am concerned about. I will be putting a lot more time into that class since I really need a good grade in there.

The sites should all be working fine, same goes for my mail forms so my hosting and contact forms all work. If you have any site problems (that are hosted by me) then drop me an email or leave a comment.

Yea, I know I am late on some things, Bloglines.com being one of them. I am now using this to read all my weblogs and sites I visit and it tracks when they update and tells me so I don't need to visit until it updates.

Most _modern_ blogging systems work. I know for a fact B2, MT, and WP all have feeds and GM doesn't.

Midterms0

Here we go. Caffeine ready. Books opened. Pencil sharpened. Let’s start midterms.

I just noticed that starting Saturday to next Friday I have some sort of major assignment for each of my classes. One midterm, 3 tests and an essay due; it’s midterms when there is something BIG in all your classes. I finished my programming test today with confidence, the lab part which is programming a program was so easy and the multiple choice wasn’t that difficult. I am least worried about that class.

What I am worried about is Philosophy midterm. We only have two tests in that class, midterms and finals so this is worth A LOT. As if that doesn’t scare me enough, I can’t stand philosophy so I don’t really understand most of it. Ya ya, what’s to understand, nothing is wrong right? Tell that to my teacher. It’s going to be 40 multiple choice, asking us about how each philosopher thinks and what would say what.

This is where I take a moment and pray I get a good grade in that class.

My English essay is on the topic of political issues, I am suppose to write an unbias (hah!) paper displaying both sides on Proposition 66 which is to amend the three strikes laws against criminals. I need to develop 2-3 arguments for both sides and the rebuttals to each argument. It won’t be fun, but it won’t be terribly hard either.

And my last class is math. I hate it, that is all. Oh yea, pray time.

College students, how are we doing? High school students, how’s the new grade? Middle school and below, how’s having no naps? Work people, how’s work?

I am planning on applying this Fall to UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD and UCI. I want to either attend UCLA or UC Berkeley, I am pretty sure I can get in UCI and I just threw in UCSD cause everyone suggested it.

Now, UCLA isn’t exactly easy to get into. And I want to get into UCLA, Berkeley is there but I don’t have that much of a chance so I basically shoot for UCLA. Basically, they require completion of 2 english classes, a math classes and 4 other off subject classes to be qualified to apply. UCLA recommends that you go through with our Honors Program which is basically taking 6 honors classes and passing with a B. Now all this is easy, it’s just that my first semester I didn’t do exactly well and my GPA isn’t as high as I want it to be now.

That’s why I am scared. I mean, I am working on my personal statement now which is 50% of what they look at (other 50 is grades) when determining who gets in. Why would they select you if two applicants have the same academic strength? That’s where this comes in. I am going to work a while on it and hopefully make my statement shine from the rest.

But I am scared. Even though the rep said that 90% of honors students applying to UCLA get in, what if I am the 10%? What if I am below the GPA they require? I know, don’t think like a pessimistic but I am scared. My whole life I didn’t accomplish anything worth mentioning, this may be the first thing I do right that my secondary family and my dad will look at and be proud of.

So what happens if I fail? Where do I go? Please, don’t do this to me again.

From Davezilla's blog, here are the top ten things I would do if I were elected President.

1. Being fat would be illegal.
2. The government would have annual contests for the coolest useless invention made with money as the prize.
3. People trying to convert me to their new religion would be stripped down naked in the center of town square and be subjected to castration.
4. Same goes for telemarketers/solicitors
5. Common Sense 101 would be a new class and required for all students…wait, just everyone in or out of school.
6. Carbohydrates? Ya, those would be required in all meals. Freakin Atkin's diet freaks…
7. People would be required to pass a speaking and written sixth grade level English test to be permitted to enter the USA
8. National Beer Drinking Day. 'nuff said.
9. Internet Explorer will not only be banned but anyone caught using it will be executed immediately
10. l337 speak, internet thugs or anyone who acts like someone else on the net will die. So that leaves 1% of the internet population.
