Crap.

Tomorrow I start my Fall semester.

Damn. I will be taking 19 units this cursed semester; Math 80 (calc 3), English 3 Honors, Psych 1 Honors, Ethics Honors and Intro to C++. I just, ugh, this sucks. Summer was already ruined by Calc 1 and 2 which I got a B in both classes, the only good news I have recieved ever since I started the class. I got so happy when I heard I got a B in Calc 2 since I thought I had bombed the final (which I probably did, but not enough to get me down to a C).

Anyways, moving on. On Monday/Wednesday I have class from 7:45AM to 1:30 PM, spilt between 3 classes; Math, Psychology and English, in that order. Then on Tuesday/Thursday I have a 12:30 to 2PM class on Ethics. ON friday, I have my 7:45-9:24 for Math and Saturday is set aside for a 5 hour class on programming. Somebody shoot me. It's strange, we start so early and get out later then most UCs and cal states. It's like finishing a 20 mile run only to start another one right after.

Also, I am deciding on changing my domain name. lat3nt.net is being picked up as some weird genre of sites on search engines, mainly due to my e/n days. Because of that, some libraries or anything with those netnanny filtering systems block my site. I don't want that to happen. All I know is, my new domain is utlizing the .name suffixes and it's just going to be sweet :P I wanted ismy.name and use chris.ismy.name as my personal space and what.ismy.name as my main site leading to all the people I am hosting but sadly, someone owns ismy.name. So maybe I will get justanother.name. We will see.

    Sounds like a good plan with the new domain, I got http://chris.coggburn.us myself because it was cheap and the subdomain of my first name and the domain being my first name just kicks ass for an email address. chris (at) coggburn (dot) us. Very easy to remember. .us domains are $5/year at GoDaddy.com

    5 classes!? oh I see.. semester. Yeah, semesters are longer than quarters. ^^

    No, I like your domain name! But yeah, your site IS blocked at my school, so it’s a good reason.

    Wow, you do start early - I always thought that colleges generally started in late September or thereabouts. But, good luck with all your classes (so much calculus; most would die!). Where do you go to college, anyway?

    Starting so soon? Hope you can handle those five classes…

    “Chris.ismy.name” is a great URI for a personal website. Don’t worry if ismy.name is already taken, you’ll come up with a greater idea.

    I’ve never been attracted by .name domain, but you sure will give it a creative use.

    well i see why your starting earlier than most people. you must have got out earlier than others this year but yea, your now taking c++? they offer that in high school dont they ? i know they do at my school. maybe its a harder one ionno. Well good luck! your smart you’ll make it threw. :)

    Wow what a buttload of classes you are taking, I would die ;P And congrats on getting a B in both calc 1&2. I am still struggling with Algebra >< I’m not a math person. You start fall semester so earlyyyy, ugh I would hate that!

    Alycia, not really. I get out around the same time as most people so I lose all ways. And I don’t want to take C++, I just need it as a requirement for my major.
