And the world is in awe.

77,000 dead and counting. If you haven’t been up with the news, on Sunday there was a 9.0 earthquake off the coast of Indonesia. Instant 4,000 dead. If that wasn’t bad enough (fourth most powerful earthquake since the earthquakes started being recorded) the tsunami that rose after the earthquake literally rose to 5 stories high and wiped out endless buildings and resorts. The place that got hit the worse was Indonesia, with currently over 40,000 dead and many missing. Sri Lanka also got hit pretty badly, as the tsunami swept the entire island from the looks of the graphs that displayed the paths of the tsunami that reached as far as Somalia, Africa.

Christmas and readings.

Christmas is over, I hope all of you guys had a great Christmas. I got the only things I needed for my gifts, a pair of sweatpants/sweater (man, no one has any idea how comfortable these are to wear) and money. I was hoping for a laptop but my dad told me if I could wait til Summer, he could get me a IBM Thinkpad T42 which is like the workhorse of laptops. So I will wait. I was going to get an iBook but if I can get there, I will.
